At the beginning of 2019, I became Secretary of the local AES Atlanta section. Responsibilities have included typical secretary duties for meetings but also maintaining the section's website, mailing list, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. My students and I were recently interviewed for a segment on local 11 Alive (Atlanta NBC affiliate). The Why Guy visited the Art Institute of Atlanta to explore why our own voice sounds different to us when it is recorded. The entire article is available here. Chris Jordan, of the Talking Sound Podcast, was recently at Lucky Run Studio to discuss tips all musicians should know before going into a studio. I was again a guest on the Talking Sound Podcast, this time from Lucky Run Studio. This episode gives more insight into the recent move of the studio as well as a view of the new control and tracking rooms. I was a recent guest on an episode of the Talking Sound Podcast.
